Link Studio

Privacy

Last updated 2026-05-15

Link Studio creator pages live at /l/<slug>. Most clicks on a Link Studio page do not go straight to a third-party site — they first pass through an internal redirect at /q/<token>, which resolves the destination server-side. This means the underlying destination URL never appears in the public page's HTML, JSON, scripts, or response headers.

What we record per click

When you tap a tile or header button on a Link Studio page, we record a single event with:

  • the timestamp of the click,
  • which page and block the click came from,
  • an approximate device type (mobile / tablet / desktop / bot),
  • browser and operating system family inferred from your user agent,
  • an approximate country, when our CDN provides one,
  • a salted, irreversible hash of your IP address — we never store the raw IP.

Bot-looking user agents are flagged and excluded from public click counters. The event ledger is used only for the creator's own analytics inside the management dashboard.

What we don't do

  • We don't set advertising cookies on Link Studio pages.
  • We don't sell click data to third parties.
  • We don't share the destination URL with browsers or intermediaries — it's only resolved at click time on our servers.

Third-party destinations

Once a click is redirected, you're on a separate site governed by that site's own privacy policy. We have no visibility into how third-party destinations handle your data after the hand-off.

Reporting

If a Link Studio page is misusing your name, image, or content — or you think it's tied to harmful activity — use the report form at /l/report.
